METEORITES: ALIENS AMONG US Isn’t just a great presentation, it’s a great informal learning experience for your students that will help them tie what you teach in the classroom to the world around them. Students will learn what meteorites are, the types of meteorites, how to search for and identify meteorites, documentation of finds, specimen handling, analysis and what meteorites tell us about the formation of our solar system and the planets.
Just as importantly, students will learn about character and citizenship through directed lessons involving respect, teamwork, perseverance, responsibility and the opportunity for discovery open to all who dedicate themselves to seeking.
